In the last ten years the technology in the sport of Superbikes has progressed massively, although fairness and capacity caps have been introduced to keep the fair ethic of Superbike racing alive.
Compared to its car counterpart Formula 1, Superbike engineering has remained relatively crude and success in the sport is relatively obtainable with success stories in the sport for young boys winning their way to the top.
Various youth championships and small engine classes allow the younger riders the perfect opportunity to develop their skills.
The engineering of the bikes is not the only aspect of the sport that has maintained the same principles throughout the years.
