Motorpoint Team Up With Rob Mac Racing

February 26, 2009

Car supermarket group Motorpoint are planning to make a mark in British Superbikes this year, having agreed a deal to become principal sponsor of the Rob Mac racing team.

Motorpoint will partner with team boss Rob McElnea to form the Motorpoint Yamaha racing team, who launch an assault on the British Superbikes title through both riders Chris Walker and Graeme Gowland. The pair will be riding brand new Yamaha YZF R1 Superbikes which are still being tested in the UK.

The first race of the season promises to be spectacular, with tens of thousands of BSB fans expected to attend at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit in April.
