Mladin Remains Unbeaten In 2009 With Double Win

Mat Mladin and Rockstar/Makita Yoshimura Suzuki continued their perfect start to the 2009 AMA Superbikes Championship with a dominant display at Road Atlanta earlier this month. Mladin is undefeated after the first five races of 2009, with the weekend races at Road Atlanta perhaps the most impressive.
After recording the fastest time in the Superpole qualifying lap, Mladin went on to lead every lap of race one on Saturday, repeating the same feat on Sunday for race two. The weekend marked emphatic 50th and 51st consecutive wins for Rockstar/Makita racing team.
The next event in the AMA Superbikes Championship calendar takes place on May 1-3 at Barber Motorsports Park.
