Kagayama To Miss Australia Through Injury
February 26, 2008
It has been confirmed that Japanese rider Yukio Kagayama will miss the second round of the World Superbikes Championship through an injury he picked up in Qatar.
The Alstare Suzuki rider suffered a broken collarbone when he crashed on the first lap of the second race at the Losail International Circuit after making contact with Carlos Checa. He will certainly miss the racing at Phillip Island this weekend, and probably the FGSport tests scheduled for March 13-14 in Valencia.
Kagayama is expected to be fit enough to race again there for the third round of the Championship at the start of April.

I watched this at the weekend, it was a pretty nasty crash - he was lucky to escape with just a broken collarbone!
Hope he’s back in time for the Spanish Round of the Championship.
