Indoor Mini RoadRacing Championship Set For January

The 2009 Canadian National Indoor Mini RoadRacing Championship Series is set to take place at the beginning of the new year over two weekends - January 9-11 and January 16-18. The event sees riders from 7 to 56, male and female, competing for 3 national titles.

To the delight of many fans, many of the stars of the Parts Canada Superbike championship are already confirmed for the feature event in January. The ‘Superstar Challenge’ event, its first appearance at the annual series, will see the likes of Jordan Szoke, Clint McBain and Brett McCormick compete against one another in this challenge.

Last year’s overall winner was Darrel Macrae who returns to defend his title for 2009 and is the oldest registered competitor at 57.
