HM Plant Honda Announce Riders For 2009

HM Plant Honda announced last week that they will be represented on the track by two Australians - Glen Richards and Josh Brookes. With the HM Plant team one of the strong favourites for next year’s title, there will certainly be pressure on the two Aussies to perform.
Richards is a relative veteran, having race in British Superbikes before. This season saw him racing in and eventually winning the British Supersport 600 championship after a fierce season-long battle with South African Hudson Kennaugh.
Brookes is an up and coming rider currently racing in and battling for second spot in the World Supersport Championship. He also made a cameo appearance for the HM Plant Honda team in the last round of the British Supersport Championship at Brands Hatch earlier this month.
