Haga To Make Possible Move To Xerox Ducati For 2009
September 17, 2008
With the announcement that Tom Sykes will replace him at Yamaha next season, Noriyuki Haga’s future in the WSB paddock was very much undecided but it now appears the Japanese rider has a good chance of taking a position with Xerox Ducati next season.
It has so far been a strange couple of months in the rider transfer news this season. All movements and newcomers are traditionally tied up by the Brands Hatch round of the World Superbike season in early August, but with Xerox stalling on their announcement of who will replace the retiring Troy Bayliss next season the whole paddock seems to remain in limbo.
And the shock news that his replacement may be Nori Haga, the shake up and instability seems to have now compounded.
With news still being slow on the official announcements, all it seems we can do now is wait and see what develops over the coming weeks, as there is sure to be more surprises before the season is over.
