Haga Takes Race Two At Assen
April 26, 2009
Noriyuki Haga bounced back from the first race of the day by storming to a convincing victory in race two at the Assen TT circuit today.
Haga was overtaken on the final lap of race one by Ben Spies, but Spies crashed out early in the second race leaving an unchallenged Haga to cruise to victory.
Haga said after the race:
What Else?“First of all, I’m sorry for Ben and his crash, I hope he is fine. After the first race we changed the suspension a little bit and the bike was really comfortable, so a big thanks to everyone in the team. I think it’s nine years since I won here, in 2000, so I’m very happy and now I’m looking forward to Monza.”
