Fagan And Zanotti Sign For Red Viper Racing

British Superbikes Championship team Red Viper Racing will return in 2009, with Alastair Fagan joining existing rider Aaron Zanotti to double the team’s efforts going into the new championship year.
Zanotti said:
“I’m really pleased to be riding for Red Viper Racing again. We all got on great last year and with new bikes this season we will be a lot more competitive. I can’t wait to start testing and working with Alastair to get the bikes set-up in time for the first round at Brands Hatch.”
Fagan added:
“I’m delighted to have joined Red Viper Racing and I can’t thank Gary and Ady enough for giving me this chance. I had a torrid end to the 2008 season and can’t wait to get back on a competitive bike to regain my confidence. I’m under no illusion that this will be one tough year ahead, but I’m sure with a team like Red Viper, a bike like the new Fireblade and some serious winter training, I can bag some podiums in the Cup competition. I can’t wait to get out there and start testing.”
The team start their preparation next month, with testing planned in the UK and Spain before the start of the 2009 season in April.
