Eurosport Renews World Superbikes Coverage

February 25, 2009

Eurosport have confirmed that they will continue to cover the World Superbikes championship in 2009, starting with the opening round at Phillip Island, Australia next month.

With five British riders lining up in this year’s championship, the satellite television channel is keen to take advantage of the expected increase in interest in the title race.

Race weekend coverage will be extensive, incorporating the live action from both the superbike and supersport series on race day and in-depth analysis before and after the event from presenter Tony Carter. The commentary positions will be once again provided by James Whitham and Jack Burnicle.
