Valentino Rossi injures hand and foot

Current MotoGP world champion, Valentino Rossi, has had to have his hand and foot stitched up after an accident. Was it a problem with his bike? Did he fall foul of difficult riding conditions?
No. He fell over at home.
Apparently Rossi tripped and fell on a glass coffee table. He was attempting to close the curtains at the time, which as we all know is a dangerous activity. He cut the ring finger of one hand and the sole of his foot, although it doesn’t seem like the injuries are troubling him all that much, because he’s flown over to Malaysia to begin testing his Fiat Yamaha before the 2009 season.
