North West 200 Announce Sponsors

January 14, 2009

British Superbikes team North West 200 have announced that their rider Michael Rutter will be officially backed by Coca Cola Zero. The team have also released the first official photo of the bike Rutter will be riding in 2009.

The announcement was made last week during the launch of the 80th North West 200 road races meeting in Belfast.

The NW200 team is run by Rob Mac Racing, both teams running out of the same base in Scunthorpe. Interestingly, the Coca Cola Zero back team’s red bike will be up against the blue of the Rob Mac team, meaning there is already red team / blue team banter beginning in the paddock and talk of money being put on the table on which team comes out on top!
