Bennets Confirmed As BSB Title Sponsors

UK motorbike insurance firm Bennetts has agreed a deal with new Championship rights holders MotorSport Vision to sponsor the British Superbikes Championship for a 4th consecutive year. The deal strengthens Bennetts’ involvement in bike racing, with event sponsorship of the two British rounds of the World Superbikes Championship and the support this year of MotoGP challenger James Toseland already confirmed.
The passing of the competition’s commercial rights from Dorna to Motorsport Vision at the end of last season led some to believe that a change of title sponsor would follow. However, discussions have gone well between the two companies, the new relationship providing a solid partnership for the future.
“I am delighted that Bennetts will be continuing as the title sponsor of the 2008 British Superbike Championship. BSB provides the greatest promotional platform for any bike related product in the UK already and Bennetts have confirmed their confidence in MSV’s determination to make this great sport even bigger” said Jonathan Palmer, the Chief Executive of MotorSport Vision.
