2008 BSB Champions Honoured

Last week saw the champions across the British Superbike championship receive special honours at the MCN Awards at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birminham. Sponsors Motorsport Vision’s Commercial Director Jonathan Palmer oversaw the presentation with all but on of the 2008 champions present.
2008 British Superbike Champion Shane Byrne was unable to attend but championship-winning team manager Colin Wriht went up to collect the award on Shakey’s behalf, promising to do it all over again in 2009 with the new team lineup of Leon Camier and James Ellison.
Leon Haslam and Cal Crutchlow received runner-up awards, while Matty Hoyle, Tim ‘Twister’ Hastings, Lee Johnston and Steve Brogan all went up to receive their respective championship awards.
